Details: Larger than average Limoges porcelain trinket box in the shape of a strawberry tart.Ā Speckled and fluted bottom half emulates the crust of a fruit tart. The lid is ringed by a speckled and "crimped" edge surrounding artfully arranged strawberries in a pastry cream base.Ā A bronze frame with a bee clasp complete the box. The interior is glazed white porcelain with one hand-painted strawberry in the center of the bottom. The bottom of the box is signed in cursive "Peint Main Limoges France GR" roughly translating to Hand Painted in Limoges, France for Gerard Ribierre.Ā Small slip of paper inside states "May 14, 1995 Mother's Day".
