Dimensions: Platter (24" Long x 10 5/8" Wide x 2 1/2" Deep), Plates (Each 8 1/2" Diameter x 1" Deep)
Condition: Very good pre-owned vintage condition. Four of the plates have a chip on the edge of the rim and retouched gold trim. A few smudges of gold paint are visible on the back of retouched plates. A few of the plates have minor paint loss/wear typical of age and use. Platter is in excellent shape with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Please see photos.
Details: Vintage set of ten porcelain plates and complimenting platter, all with gold scalloped edges and hand painted fish illustrations. The long, narrow platter depicts a realistic hand painted rainbow trout, jumping from the water with visible line and hook in its mouth. The plates each depict realistic portraits of different species of fish with hand painted details over a light transfer. No marks visible on the set.
