Condition: Excellent pre-owned antique condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. A few light utensil marks in the center of the plate consistent with age and use. Please see photos.Ā
Details: White porcelain scalloped plate decorated with an ivory background and insets of magenta, gold scrolls, and ivory cameos depicting gold-encrusted floral elements. Gold laurel swags surround the center along with gold filigree and a solid band around the rim.Ā Marked on the back inside a turquoise cartouche surrounded by yellow scrolls is a yellow crown and "NSP China" in Old English script as well as "MADE IN JAPAN" in block letters.Ā "Hand Painted" in stamped in black script below the cartouche.
