Condition: Very good pre-owned vintage condition. Very minor surface cracks at joins.Ā  Small void in decoration at bottom of one pitcher. Some minor discoloration on both. Please see photos.

Details: Two dark blue unglazed straight sided pitchers with unglazed white grapevine frieze under lip.Ā  Neoclassical decoration of women & children. Unglazed white laurel wreath applied over joins of handle to body.Ā  Rope-twisted handles. Both impressed on the bottom with "Wedgwood" and "Made in England". First developed by Josiah Wedgwood in the 1770's, Jasperware is noted for its unique matte finish formula, cameo-like relief decoration, and neoclassical designs.
